Tracy Fossum
Director of Annual Giving
507-786-3885
fossum@stolaf.edu
Tracy works with class years 1974-97, parents, faculty, staff, workshops and conferences, and Sammemkomst, the annual reunion class gift presentation. After coloring, watching Dora the Explorer, and playing "My Little Pony" with her daughter, Tracy tries to catch the latest Daily Show, plan her next international travel adventure, or finally finish one of the 15 unread books she owns. Next book on the list: Ex Libris by Ross King.
Matthew Fedde '06
Assistant Director of Annual Giving
507-786-3705
fedde@stolaf.edu
Matt works with young alumni volunteers, the Student Alumni Association, the Senior Campaign, e-philanthropy, and web maintenance. Throughout a typical weekend he can be found honing his stations on Pandora, watching his latest Netflix and listing to This American Life while reading When You Are Engulfed in Flames. He’s likely to choose drinking juice, over renewing library books. He also loves sunshine.
Cheri Floren
Annual Giving Coordinator
507-786-3505
floren@stolaf.edu
Cheri masters the databases, and the budget, and manages gift matches all the while supporting reunion gifts and Class Fund Agents from the classes of 1957-1984. Right now, she’s reading a book Brenda gave her. Tonight she’s going out to eat at Fisherman’s Inn and then will hit up her son Taylor’s 8th grade basketball game.
Brenda Norberg P'08
Annual Giving Coordinator
507-786-3354
norbergb@stolaf.edu
Brenda supports reunion gift campaigns and volunteers from the classes of 1945-1970 and 1994-2009. She supervises student workers, and manages the direct mail program. She loves spending time with her granddaughter Ella… even more than cleaning her basement. And if she’s not reading the daily comics while sipping green tea, she’s probably with her husband, on a tandem bike, photographing their adventures.
Amy Pagel
Assistant Director of Annual Giving
507-786-3617
pagel@stolaf.edu
Amy works with volunteers in the classes of 1971-1973 and 1975-1983 as well as parent initiatives, the volunteer e-Newsletter, and special events. She comes to us with a wealth of annual fund experience. As a Concordia grad, she was a phonathon caller and manager, and currently serves as her class's Class Fund Agent, along with her husband, Mark. Amy has most recently been at home with her family and working for the family construction business. During this time, she has been actively involved in the Northfield community serving as a fundraising event planner and volunteer for the Open Door Nursey School and Prairie Creek Elementary.
Nicole Schroeder
Assistant Director of Annual Giving
schroedn@stolaf.edu
507-786-8996
Nicole manages the Ole Callers program, advises the Senior Campaign and supervises the Student Alumni Association and works with young alumni. Iced chai lattes and copious amounts of coffee are helping her to get through the seemingly endless stack of St. Olaf view books she’s studying as she’s learning what it means to be an Ole. Although she annually has a difficult time choosing which is better – listening to the radio while watching Law & Order, or enjoying the summer – she has yet to throw up her arms and say "to heck with this, I’m organizing my finances instead."
