Norma J. Reynolds '07
Norma is a Spanish and political science double major from Omaha, Nebraska. She has been involved in the Board of Regents Student Committee, Cultural Union for Black Expression, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Manitou Singers, Multicultural Awareness Committee, Hurricane Katrina Relief Committee, Student Support Services, Undergraduate Scholars, varsity women's track and field, and Women of Color. Norma's father is a 5th generation United Methodist pastor and her mother works with the Customer Care Department at the Marriott headquarters in Omaha. She has an older brother and a fraternal twin sister, Normesha. In the fall Norma will be attending the University of Nebraska College of Law in Lincoln, Nebraska, where she was accepted with a full scholarship.

Andy Tompsett '07
Andy is a biology major from Nashotah, Wisconsin. Andy spent fall semester of his junior year conducting independent research in India on the Biology in South India program. Andy has been a four-year member and captain of the men's swim team, co-chair of the Class of 2007 Senior Giving Campaign, member of the Student Alumni Association, and a resident assistant. Andy also serves on the Student Athletic Advisory Board, volunteers at the Northfield Middle School Youth Center, and teaches Sunday school at St. John's Lutheran Church in Northfield. This September Andy will begin 27 months of service in the Peace Corps, teaching secondary science in a non-French speaking African Country. Eventually, he would like to return to school to study public health and international development.

Gary Stansell, Professor of Religion
Professor Stansell received his Dr. Theol. degree from the Ruprecht-Karl University in Heidelberg, Germany. He teaches in the area of Biblical Studies, with particular interest in the Old Testament, the Bible and Literature, and problems related to Antisemitism and Jewish-Christian Dialogue. His professional and scholarly interests include translating German commentaries, studying the formation of prophetic books, as well as the anthropology of the Mediterranean world. In his spare time, he beats Charles Wilson and Ed Santurri at racquetball.
