Scenic Nature

Sometimes when we think about nature and college, we think about the beauties of nature that abound on college campuses, the glorious sights that show up in their viewbooks and on their websites. This is what I would call scenic nature—and a lot of you have come to St. Olaf influenced at least in part by the aesthetic properties of St. Olaf’s property. You think that a place that cares for nature as well as we do might also care for human nature too—and, in fact, you’re right.
