Some of the oldest hominid fossils have been found here in Olduvai Gorge. Mary Leakey found the 3.4 million year old skull of Australopithicus Bosei here. Today it is sill excavated, but attracts a large amount of tourists as well. This warrior, however, simply brings his goats onto the valley floor to graze and water them.

Seeminly unaffected by globalization and the encroachment of tourists, this warrior practices the traditions bequeathed to him by his ancestors upon a place home to our common ancestors some 3 million years ago. Here he looks out over the expanse of the valley before returning home.
