After encouraging smiles and hand gestures motioning me to take a picture, I snap a shot of these beautiful Indian women. The instant my camera clicks, their attitudes change and I realize as they start walking after me that I have unknowingly entered into a transaction with them. Their quiet elegance and traditional Indian wear has become means of income as they patiently await the next niave tourist searching for authenticity.
