Studying off-campus is an investment in your future. It requires advance planning, careful management, creativity and perseverance. The personal, academic and professional rewards will last a lifetime.
St. Olaf College allows financial aid and scholarships to be used to finance off-campus semester and year-long programs. St. Olaf pays for all educational costs for your program. This leaves the additional costs of airfare, room and board for the participant to pay. These costs can be added to your financial aid package by working with the St. Olaf Financial Aid Office. Following is information concerning fundraising, loans and scholarships, which may be able to assist you with financing your off-campus program. It is important to begin the scholarship and loan application process early, as many deadlines are in early spring.
