The music library is chock full of resources! If you have never been in
a music library before, you might be surprised to learn about the different
types of items we have in the library. In addition to useful encyclopedias,
we have books about musical styles, composers, teaching ... just about anything
having to do with
music! We also subscribe to a variety of music journals, both
online
and in print, which contain useful articles that can assist you with your
research.
The music library also has printed music for most ensembles and performers.
For example,
we have string quartet music, music
for solo instruments, and even
collections of songs for
specific voice type! In
addition, the music library has a large
collection of sound recordings
that you
may check out and listen to within the library.
