International Index to Music Periodicals (IIMP) (1874-present)
An index to a wide variety of music periodicals, some dated back to the late 1800s. Abstracts are available for articles dated 1996-present. Also available on CD-ROM in the Music Library reference area.


International Index to the Performing Arts (IIPA) (1992-present)
Indexes over 200 international performing arts periodicals, plus related articles in The New York Times and The Washington Post. Abstracts are available for most of the articles dated 1998-present.


Music Index (1979-present)
The major index to periodical literature in the field of music. Indexes obituaries, book reviews, reviews of performances, and scholarly articles from over 300 music periodicals. Does not include abstracts. Also available in print from 1949-present on the Music Library index tables (REF ML 118.M9).


RILM Music Abstracts (1967-present)
Indexes parts of books (e.g. essays) as well as periodical articles including many foreign articles and books. Includes abstracts as well as author/title information. Also available in print in the Music Library (REF ML 118.A2).
