Instant Message with your Reference Librarians! It's 7:30 pm on Sunday night. It's a zillion degrees below zero outside before windchill. You're wearing those silly teddy bear slippers your grandma got you for Christmas, and sipping hot chocolate to help ward off frostbite. You're also madly finishing a paper due tomorrow, and you've gotta finish by 8:00 pm because nothing gets in the way of Desperate Housewives. You're down to the last citation on your bibliography…but, wait a minute. There are two titles--which one gets italicized? And do you use a period there, or a colon? There are three copyright dates listed…which one do you use? You could ask a reference librarian. But it's COLD outside! Have no fear! In an effort to serve our students and faculty better and faster, reference librarians at Rolvaag, Halvorson Music, and Glasoe Science have begun Instant Messaging.
