New Librarian at the Music Library

Please join the Libraries in welcoming Misti Shaw to the Music Library. She is filling in for Beth Christensen during her year-long sabbatical.

Misti received a B.M. from Oklahoma City University, an M.A. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, and an M.S. in library science from the University of North Texas. In her position as Graduate Library Assistant at UNT, Shaw assisted in conducting research, writing, and web page design for the UNT Virtual Rare Book Room website. She is a member of the Music Library Association and Music Library Association—Midwest Chapter. As a cellist, Shaw participates in chamber ensembles, and is especially interested in contemporary music.
