The St. Olaf Libraries and the St. Olaf chapter of Habitat for Humanity joined forces to host the 7th Annual Rolvaag Library Open on Saturday, January 14th. Over 140 golfers showed up to take on the “finest eighteen holes on the St. Olaf campus.” The mini-golf course, which spanned all 5 levels of Rolvaag Library, proved daunting with holes such as “Rolvaag’s Revenge,” “Vault Vendetta,” and “Documents Dilemma.”

The event raised over $700 which was divided evenly among the library and Habitat for Humanity. The library’s portion of proceeds will be spent on purchasing films, be they educational or purely for entertainment, to add to Rolvaag’s collection. These films will be determined based upon student, faculty, and staff suggestions. A suggestion box is stationed at the entrance to Rolvaag Library where it will gather your input until February 28th. Please come by and give us your recommendation!
