Government Documents
The St. Olaf Libraries are a United States Federal Depository Library and have a large collection of Federal publications in paper, microfiche and CD-ROM, many of which are cataloged in Bridge. The government publications are located on the 3rd floor of Rolvaag Library in a separate Government Documents section.

The Regional Depository
The Government
Publications Library at the University of Minnesota serves
as the Regional Depository for the States of Minnesota and South
Dakota, and receives all publications distributed under the Federal
Depository Library Program administered by the U.S. Government
Printing Office.
On-line Resources
Government Periodicals Universe An index to government document periodicals, many of which are located in the St. Olaf government documents collection. The index covers articles in approximately 170 current federal publications. It includes retrospective coverage through 1988 of over 70 additional federal publications that have major research, reference, or general interest value. Updated quarterly.
GPO
ACCESS Connect to Databases Online via GPO Access, a complete searchable,
printable text of Congressional Record, Federal Register, Code of Federal
Regulations, bills, laws and over 50 other basic government sources from
the past few years.

- A way to find records of U.S. government information and federal agencies' online resources. Coverage begins with 1994.
- CIA Home Page
- Contains information about the CIA, news from the CIA Public Affairs Staff, links to searchable CIA publications (including the The World Factbook), and additional links to CIA and intelligence community information.
- Economic Report of the President
- The Economic Report of the President includes; 1) current and foreseeable trends and annual numerical goals concerning topics such as employment, production, real income and Federal budget outlays; 2) employment objectives for significant groups of the labor force; 3) annual numeric goals; and 4) a program for carrying out program objectives. - Biographical Directory of the United States Congress: 1774-Present
- Directory to the United States Congress. Also included are useful links and a history page.
- FEDSTATS
- More than 70 agencies in the United States Federal Government produce statistics of interest to the public. The Federal Interagency Council on Statistical Policy maintains this site to provide easy access to the full range of statistics and information produced by these agencies for public use. All of the statistical information available through FedStats is maintained and updated solely by Federal agencies on their own Internet servers.
- NAICS (North American Industry Classification System)
- NAICS replaces the Standard Industrial Classification Manual (SIC), a reference tool consulted since the 1930s by anyone using economic census or other industrial data.
- Decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court
- Produced by the Legal Information Institute at Cornell University. Decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court is an index of most U.S. Supreme Court decisions from 1990. Cases are indexed by topic, and can also be search by key words. Cases are also indexed by year and Party Name. It also includes Selected Pre-1990 Decisions.
