Web Sites for Classics
Classics Collections Page
This page provides a search engine and many links to directories, bibliographies, journals, electronic texts, databases, art & archeology and many resources that relate to classical studies. This site is maintained by the University of Florida library.
The Internet Classics Archive
Housed at MIT, this page is "an award-winning, searchable collection of almost 400 classical Greek and Roman texts (in English translation) with user-provided commentary."
The Perseus Digital Library
This collection contains extensive and diverse resources including primary and secondary texts, site plans, digital images, and maps. Art and archaeology catalogs document a wide range of objects linked to tens of thousands of images. Numberous secondary sources supplement the catalog entries and include the works of classical Greek and Roman authors, both in the original language and in translation. Nearly all the classics materials are interlinked and accessible from any given resource.
