- This site provides links to current publications

- The Modern Language Association Language Map
- Uses statistics from the 2000 US Census to show concentrations of various languages in the United States. Statistics by state, county, city, and ZIP code are available.
- SIL International
- This is a well-organized, comprehensive site
for languages and linguistics. It provides electronic texts
and dictionaries, computing resources, and online access to
SIL publications including searchable versions of Ethnologue,
a catalog of more than 6,700 languages.
