The St. Olaf Glasoe Science Library is named in honor of Paul Maurice Glasoe, Professor of Chemistry from 1901-1950. A placque in his memory adorns the entrance to the library.
The Science Library has a strong emphasis in the subject areas of biology, chemistry, physics and mathematics. Currently we house over 33,182 monographs and over 10,000 bound journal volumes. Many more bound science periodicals are shelved on Level 1 of the Rolvaag Library.
Completely wired, students and faculty have internet connectivity to many scientific and technical databases. We are pleased to offer access to Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, The Web of Science, and SciFinder Scholar to name a few. There are 15 public terminals available to our clientele.
Please see our hours on the St. Olaf Libraries' Hours Page.
While this calendar is as accurate as possible, all times and dates are subject to change.
