About Special Collections

The St. Olaf College Library's Special Collections houses collections in several key areas, most notably, Nordic Studies, Nordic-language materials, and a large collection of Nordic-American Imprints, which document the literary and publishing history of Nordic immigrants to the United States between the 1830s and 1940s.

Other notable collections on our campus include: the archives of the Norwegian-American Historical Association (NAHA), the Shaw Center for College History & College Archives, and the Hong Kierkegaard Library.
