Practice Instruments in Skifter Hall

Skifter Hall, the home of the organ department, is located just a few steps away from Christiansen Hall of Music. It contains the organ faculty offices and Studio A, as well as the college's collection of seven practice organs by Dobson, Holtkamp, Schlicker, and Wilhelm. The last of the practice instruments, a 2006 Allen (58-stop), provides easy access to a three-manual instrument capable of piston changes at times when the performance instruments are not readily available.
