Fall Regional Meeting
Friday, September 18 & Saturday September 19, 2009
Hosted by University of Minnesota Department of Theatre and Dance, students and staff at Rarig Center in the West Bank Arts Quarter at the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis.
Please join us Friday evening and Saturday morning and afternoon for a weekend of theater sessions and activities at Rarig Center and the Guthrie Theater..
Events:
• "Cover the Walls"- Students, faculty, staff, and theatre professionals- SHOW US YOUR DESIGN WORK! This is an open invitation for designers to exhibit their work and share with fellow artists their ideas and approaches to design. Student display work will be entered into a juried competition with scholarship awards to the USITT National Conference in March 2010. (See Guidelines for Exhibiting). Setup begins at 6pm on Friday.
• BBQ Dinner Friday evening beginning at 7pm
• Opening Session following BBQ- Friday Evening- NorthernBoundary Membership meeting.
• Bowling at Memory Lanes
• Workshop Sessions: Saturday Morning at Rarig and the Guthrie Theater. Afternoon sessions at Rarig Center.
• Final Wrap-up session 4:30pm on Saturday. Design Awards will be announced.

Registration:
Friday Night beginning at 6pm, & Saturday morning 8:00 to 9:00 am with Coffee, juice & munchies provided to get us all going! Wrap-up session Saturday afternoon to be done by 5:30pm

• Students participating in the Design Exhibit will have the workshop fee waived.

The 21st Avenue ramp is across the street from RarigCenter. Pay lots are located about a block away. A "home" football game is scheduled for the 19th and may impact parking. Ramps and pay lots are likely $8-$10 on Sturday due to area sporting events.
