USITT/EdTA team up to offer Technical Theatre Training and Professional Development credit at USITT Conference
The Educational Theatre Association (EdTA) and United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) have joined together to offer EdTA's Professional Development Institute (PDI): Tech Training for Theatre Teachers during the 2009 USITT Annual Conference & Stage Expo, March 20–21 at the Duke Energy Convention Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The PDI features sessions with working professionals from the technical theatre field and covers topics in scene painting, lighting design and technology, sound design and technology, and production resources.
The cost for all sessions is $125 and includes a guided tour of the Stage Expo on Saturday, March 21. You'll also have the opportunity to earn 1.2 Continuing Education Units (CEUs).
