In July 2001, St. Olaf College submitted a
proposal for a Special Emphasis Self-Study in conjunction with the comprehensive evaluation visit by the Higher Learning Commission scheduled for April 2003. This proposal was deemed acceptable by the Higher Learning Commission and forms the basis for the self-study itself.
