The dynamics of Lutheran thought

At 7 p.m. in Holland Hall 501, Professor of Religion Eric Lund will trace an inner dynamic within Lutheranism from the Reformation to the 21st Century in a lecture titled "The Swing of the Pendulum: Comforting the Afflicted and Afflicting the Comfortable in Lutheran History." The lecture is funded from the Lutheran Heritage Endowment founded by Nyles and Ruth Ellefson.
