March 13, 2003

What does St. Olaf have to say about itself, its future, and the tension between the sacred and the secular? "We?re concerned about what makes life worthwhile," says Professor L. DeAne Lagerquist, a member of the St. Olaf religion faculty who will examine these issues in tonight's Mellby Memorial Lecture titled The Observations of the Observed: Theological Literacy, Global Perspective and Liberal Arts. The lecture is at 7 p.m. in the Viking Theater.
