The St. Olaf baseball team dropped a pair of games to Bethany Lutheran College in Lindborg, Kan. Friday 2-0 and 14-6.

In game one, Jeff Jasperson (Jr., Duluth, Minn./East) allowed just two unearned runs in six innings of work for the Oles. The Hawks (12-3) scored the game winner on a throwing error in the fourth inning and added an insurance run in the sixth. The Oles (3-3) were held to just one hit.

In game two, St. Olaf jumped to a 2-0 lead on a two out, two run double by Brett Thoreson (FY, So. St. Paul, Minn./Simley). The Hawks, however, scored three in the bottom half and five in the third to retake the lead.

The Oles have nine games remaining on their trip, including a doubleheader in Wichita, Kan. against UW-Oshkosh tomorrow. First pitch is set for 11 a.m.
