St. Olaf Associate Professor of Theater and Theater Department Chair Karen Peterson Wilson '77 and the St. Olaf Theater Department have received a Nygaard Foundation Grant that will support the preservation of historic photos and programs, the creation of artwork of past theater productions for display in the theater building and the creation of a digital archive of all past productions.

The Theater Department has kept detailed records of all theater productions on campus, including photos from productions, posters, programs and the late Elizabeth Kelsey's record of expenses for productions that she directed. "We are very excited and grateful to the Nygaard Foundation for this wonderful opportunity," says Wilson. "This project honors the great traditions of St. Olaf, recognizes the involvement of students and faculty throughout generations and protects valuable information for future generations."
