Beware the earthworm

In an article about research that's happening in Minnesota state parks, the current issue of Minnesota Conservation Volunteer magazine includes the research of Kathy Shea and her students, who are assessing the impact of earthworms in nearby Nerstrand-Big Woods State Park. The research is helping park managers keep tabs on the threat that the non-native earthworms pose to the park's vegetation, writes the author.
