New Hampshire Oles in the news

An article in Sunday's Star Tribune (link below) about Tuesday's New Hampshire primary quotes St. Olaf student Andrew Nussbaum and faculty member Dan Hofrenning, both of whom have been in New Hampshire since late December as part of a political science class led by Hofrenning and faculty colleague Don Ostrem. "Maybe in New Hampshire everybody's an independent," Hofrenning told the paper.

Jan. 7 was a busy day for the group as two students were interviewed by Minnesota Public Radio's Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer, the Star Tribune posted a podcast interview with two students and Hofrenning, and Hofrenning and two other students were interviewed on Minnesota's WCCO radio. The group of 20 students also has been taped by a German TV station.

The class is blogging regularly for the Star Tribune's "Politically Connected" site.
