This year's live online stream of the St. Olaf Orchestra Home Concert Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. will be hosted live from Skolgund Center Auditorium by Melissa Ousley. The longtime public radio personality will provide background between pieces, and present an intermission feature that will include selections from past orchestra performances. She also will interview conductor Steven Amundson. Ousley will wrap up the broadcast before it is archived permanently online.

The Home Concert will conclude the ensemble's eight-day southeastern U.S. tour. Program highlights include performances by soloists Geoff Carlisle '10, viola, and Michaela Gansen '10, violin, plus Symphonie Fantastique by Hector Berlioz.

Online viewers will be encouraged to provide feedback about this pilot broadcast to help determine if other streamed on-campus concerts will get similar treatment.
