Anna Clift, instructor in music/cello, is founder and director of Cello: An American Experience, a new camp for 15–18-year-old cellists from China. The program will begin at Shattuck-St. Mary's School in nearby Faribault July 16 and move to St. Olaf July 25–August 1.

This spring Clift plans to visit schools in Shanghai, Beijing, and Tianjin to give master classes and lessons. She also will promote the camp, which will include among its faculty Hai-Ye Ni, principal cellist of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
