St. Olaf's newly resurrected student-run Cooking Club recently gathered for a chance to learn holiday cooking tips presented by Executive Chef Matthew Fogarty and Pastry Chef Richard Hayes from Bon Appétit, the food service provider for St. Olaf. The demonstrations ranged from showing the best way to slice an onion, to explaining how to brine a turkey, to making pastry dough.

Club members range from enthusiastic cooks to students who just want to learn their way around the kitchen, Cooking Club President Kelly Smith '12 says. "It's a place where people can get together to cook and share recipes and learn new things."
