With 24 St. Olaf alumni currently serving abroad in the U.S. Peace Corps, St. Olaf College has once again earned a "Top 25" ranking from the Peace Corps in the number of volunteers the college produces. This year St. Olaf ranks second among small colleges and universities (with enrollments under 5,000; St. Olaf enrolls 3,000).

The 24 Oles are stationed in Azerbaijan, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jordan, Moldova, Mozambique, Nicaragua, Niger, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Togo, Ukraine, and Zambia.

The more than 8,600 Peace Corps volunteers currently serving overseas in 77 countries is a 40-year high for the 50-year-old organization.
