Disabled Thai artists participate in the play Searching for Sanook.

Professor of Sociology Mike Leming and Instructor in Education Ann Leming recently helped forge a project that brought together Interact Center for the Visual and Performing Arts of Minneapolis, Thailand’s Rajanagarinda Institute for Child Development, and other Thai organizations to collaborate on a project in Thailand that teaches creative expression to artists with disabilities. Earlier this month the collaboration produced the play Searching for Sanook at Chiang Mai University's Art Museum Theatre (see photos of the production in the Bangkok Post).

The Lemings are directors of the Spring Semester in Thailand program that is affiliated with Chiang Mai University.
