Ole Spring Relief students are stars in Kansas City

A group of 35 St. Olaf students who spent their spring break volunteering in Kansas City, Kansas, had their work documented in a series of photos in the Kansas City Star. (Click through the album to get to the images of the students, which begin with the third photo.)

For their annual Ole Spring Relief service trip, St. Olaf students responded to Kansas City–area resident Paul Grahovac's online plea for volunteers to help the Oak Grove Neighborhood Association with its urban agriculture program. The Oles worked together to remove tree roots, construct a small greenhouse, clear brush, and plant seeds.
