"You have to give St. Olaf credit for its transparency," notes a news item in the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel about the web page the college recently launched to provide employment information for the Class of 2011.

The page, titled The Return on Investing in a St. Olaf Education, features a searchable database showing what students have gone on to do after graduation. The Chronicle of Higher Education recently noted that it is "perhaps the most comprehensive website created by a college that attempts to answer the return-on-investment question."

The Journal Sentinel blog post, titled "A Look at How 2011 Grads From One Liberal Arts College Fared in the Job Market," points out that St. Olaf gathered data for 92 percent of its 2011 graduates and found that 98 percent had a job or full-time volunteer work.
