More kudos for St. Olaf's 'ROI' page

In his online list of "Five Ways to Improve the Job Prospects of Recent College Grads," Chronicle of Higher Education editor at large Jeff Selingo says schools need to follow St. Olaf's lead in providing students with better career information.

"More colleges need to be like St. Olaf College in Minnesota, which has published detailed employment and salary data for 92 percent of its Class of 2011," he writes.

Selingo is referring to a web page the college launched this year titled The Return on Investing in a St. Olaf Education. It features a searchable database showing what members of the Class of 2011 have gone on to do after graduation.

St. Olaf's ROI page has already been highlighted in the Chronicle of Higher Education, Star Tribune, and Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. President David R. Anderson '74 also walked through the site's data during his Lunchtime Live broadcast this spring.
