Minnesota Lynx Head Coach Cheryl Reeve will visit St. Olaf College December 10 to deliver a lecture on women and sports.

Her talk will be streamed and archived online.

Reeve recently completed her third year as head coach of the Lynx. She led the team to a Women's National Basketball Association championship last year, and to the finals again this year.

Her coaching resume includes 21 years as both an assistant and head coach at the collegiate and WNBA levels. A graduate of La Salle University, where she earned a degree in computer science/management information systems, Reeve was a Rhodes Scholar nominee and received both an MAAC Scholar-Athlete Post Graduate Award and an NCAA Post Graduate Scholarship. She went on to earn her master’s degree in business administration from her alma mater while serving as an assistant coach.

Reeve's visit to St. Olaf is sponsored by the Leraas Fund, the Exercise Science Department, the Women's and Gender Studies Program, the associate dean for Social Sciences, and the Junia Fund of the Religion Department.
