The St. Olaf Choir has been named one of four finalists in the European Broadcasting Union's Choral Competition.

The four finalists were chosen from among the 15 semifinalists in the 2013 Let the Peoples Sing Euroradio Choral Competition.

St. Paul-based American Public Media chose St. Olaf College to be the sole American representative to the competition. APM is an associate member of the European Broadcasting Union.

The final competition will be held this October in Luxembourg as part of the 2013-14 Euroradio Season. The St. Olaf Choir will compete via a video uplink.

The St. Olaf Choir, conducted by Anton Armstrong '78, is the premier a cappella choir in the United States. The ensemble will begin its annual national tour this week.
