Planning and Preparation
The Peace Prize Forum was established in 1989 as an annual program to foster dialogue on the dynamics of peacemaking. Since its inception, its on-going activities have been overseen by an Executive Committee. The organization and planning for Peace Prize Forum 2000 has been undertaken by the Peace Prize Forum Planning Committee, a group of students, faculty, and staff at St. Olaf College. Assisting the Planning Committee is a Student Volunteer Committee, which gathered together the multitudes of students workers and found the necessary housing for student visitors to the Forum. Other credits for work with the Peace Prize Forum 2000 are listed with the Planning Committee, the three committees are responsible for bringing together the Peace Prize Forum, including those responsible for the construction of this site, the design of the Peace Prize Forum 2000 logo and many others. Special thanks to John Danicic, Jr. for his photographic work during the Peace Prize Forum.
