The play is a part of the 125th celebration of St. Olaf College and a part of the Peace Prize Forum: Striving for Peace: Risk and Reconciliation to be held on the St. Olaf College campus on February 18 and 19, 2000. Special music to accompany the performances is being composed by Peter Hamlin of the St. Olaf College Department of Music.

A conversation session is scheduled for Friday, February 18 from 3:30-5:00 p.m. with a panel including individuals from Norway, Ireland and the United States who will address the issue of The Arts as Agent of Social Change.

The production is supported, in part, with a grant from the Ella and Kaare Nygaard Foundation.
