An Evening for Connection and Celebration

The annual Black and Gold Winter Gala is an opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends of St. Olaf College to enjoy an evening of dinner and dancing while supporting current students.

In addition to good food and warm camaraderie, the event features a live and silent auction comprised of items that can't be found anywhere else: a glider ride with Associate Professor of Political Science Patrick Dale, a handcrafted bench made with wood from Norway Valley, an Apple iPad loaded with the entire digital collection of St. Olaf Records. And that's just the beginning.

To add to the energy of event night, the college will host an online auction three days prior to the event. Last year, this auction alone raised over $18,000.

All proceeds from the night go directly to the St. Olaf Fund, which supports a wide variety of needs on campus that range from financial aid and library resources to faculty salaries and student-faculty research.

Heading into its fourth year, the Black and Gold Winter Gala has cemented its status as an event that makes supporting current St. Olaf students fun. Just ask the nearly 350 people who attended last year and raised more than $160,000 for the St. Olaf Fund.

Join us for an evening that's all about connecting with fellow Oles and supporting all that you love about St. Olaf. Register today.
