Have a family video you’d like to share? Want to reveal a video from your time on the Hill? Are you a budding director looking to show your work? We are collecting videos from Oles across the nation and share them both on our website and on campus.

Submitting a Video
 

During this year’s Homecoming & Family Weekend, the Office of Alumni and Parent Relations will showcase the creativity and talent of our Ole community with a video contest. We invite you to submit a self-made video on YouTube.com for distribution on the St. Olaf Alumni webpage and a showing on campus.

  1. ENTRIES: You may submit up to two entries. Each entry should be uploaded on your personal YouTube account (it’s easy and free!). Then, send a copy of your video’s URL to alum-office@stolaf.edu along with your name, class year and title of the video. We’ll create an Ole playlist on the St. Olaf website and offer on-campus viewings during the weekend. All entries must follow YouTube rules and regulations.
  2. SUBJECT: Anything and everything. If you’re a budding filmmaker, upload your most recent work. If you’re an alum not able to return for the reunion, send a message to your classmates. If you have special videos from your time on the Hill, share them with the campus community.
  3. ELIGIBILITY: The Office of Alumni and Parent Relations reserves the right to exclude a video from the Ole playlist. Students, alumni, parents, faculty and staff are eligible to win.
  4. PRIZE: A committee of alumni, faculty and staff will judge the videos based on originality, creativity and quality. Three to five winners will be selected and awarded gift certificates to the St. Olaf Bookstore.
  5. DUE DATE: All entries should be uploaded with notification given to the Alumni Office by Friday, Sept. 14, 2007.
