The Logo or the Lion:
The St. Olaf Graphic Identity System

Confused about the college's graphic identity? Not sure when to use the St. Olaf logo or when to use the St. Olaf lion? And what's up with all that black and gold, anyway?

The manual
All your questions about the college's graphic identity program have now been answered. The office of Marketing and Communications has developed a graphic identity and standards manual that details the graphics, language and web standards for St. Olaf College. These standards are designed not only to convey the excellence and comprehensiveness of the St. Olaf experience, but also to make the work of staff and vendors easier, more cost effective and more efficient.

  2. Graphic Standards

Need a logo?
It's important that members of the college community use the St. Olaf graphic identity system consistently. Guidelines for using the college logos and the seal are published in the St. Olaf Graphic Identity Manual; please review these prior to using the logos.

The Office of Communications provides logos for the St. Olaf College community on the shared drive in the "StOlaf" folder. The logos are available as jpgs. If you need a different format contact us.

If you are not a student or employee of St. Olaf, email or call 507-786-3032 to discuss your needs.
