Chair's letters requesting contributions to the dossier
During the summer prior to the academic year of a special appointment review, the department chair begins soliciting contributions to the faculty member’s dossier from a variety of individuals. Each of the links below opens a template letter in Word which chairs may then edit and send to the specific individuals from whom they are soliciting statements, reviews, or other kinds of contributions.
Chair’s request to peer reviewers of teaching
Chair’s request to individuals outside the department and/or college
Chair’s request to reviewers of administrative work (if applicable)
Chair’s request to tenured members of the department
Chair’s request to non-tenured members of the department
