are expected to follow and comply with applicable copyright laws at all times. General information about copyrights can be
found elsewhere in this Handbook. This information includes guidelines with
regard to the reproduction, display, performance, and distribution of works
owned by others. St. Olaf
's practices are in harmony with the Copyright Act of 1976, including
the provisions for the “fair use” doctrine and the generally accepted
guidelines that define its scope.
