Safe Ride Escorts

The Safe Ride program, under the direction of Public Safety, provides safe, late-night, vehicular transportation for students, faculty and staff concerned about their personal safety both on-campus and to areas immediately adjacent to the campus. Safe Ride operates from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. all days classes are in session; rides may be obtained by calling Public Safety. During the early morning when Safe Ride is not operational, Public Safety will provide transports by calling the 24 Hour Dispatch-Emergency number (x3666). This service is not designed to provide transportation to downtown locations and requests may be refused if deemed inappropriate. Requests for “group rides” will be denied.
