Position: Visiting Assistant Professor or Instructor of Media and Film Studies
Term: Spring semester 2013-14 (February through May)
Salary: Commensurate with rank
The Media and Film Studies program at St. Olaf College seeks a visiting assistant professor or instructor to teach one section (0.17 FTE) of Media Studies 160: Mass Media in the spring semester of 2014 (February through May). This is the required, introductory core course of the Media Studies concentration, covering media history, theory, and criticism; it also fulfills general education requirements in oral communication and multicultural studies. A PhD or substantial graduate work in relevant fields, such as Media Studies or Communications, and prior teaching experience are required for this position.
