Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor of Spanish

The Department of Romance Languages, St. Olaf College, Northfield, MN, invites applications for a full-time position in Spanish as a Visiting Instructor or Visiting Assistant Professor for the 2008-2009 academic year. The position offers the opportunity to teach in a collaborative environment within a highly-acclaimed content-based curriculum. The teaching load is 6 courses primarily at the first- and second-year level of instruction. Required qualifications: minimum M.A. or equivalent in Spanish or a closely related field; native or near-native fluency in Spanish; demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate level; and commitment to supporting the Spanish program by assisting with out-of-class activities.
