Philosophy

The department of philosophy seeks a full-time, tenure-track, assistant professor or associate professor (without tenure) whose AOS/AOC is some combination of ethics and political philosophy (broadly construed) or with an AOS in Ancient Western with proficiency in classical Greek.  Ability to contribute to the philosophical understanding of diversity and its implications is desirable.  A strong appreciation for liberal arts education and an interest in interdisciplinary teaching is essential.  Completion of a Ph.D. by September 1, 2010 is required.
