Department/program-level information
Class and Lab Schedule with GE attributes for each departmental course for each term (Semester I, Interim, Semester II, Summer Session I, Summer Session II). Summer session information is included with the academic year preceding the summer. Available for current and preceding two academic years on the Registrar's website at http://www.stolaf.edu/classlab/. Paper copies available on request from the Office of the Registrar for years prior to those listed on the website.
"Summary of Registration" prepared by Office of the Registrar and distributed to departments twice each semester. The most accurate version is the one prepared and distributed approximately two weeks before the end of the term, after all drops and adds have been completed. Includes individual courses offered each term (fall, interim, spring, summer) with course number, course title, instructor, and number of enrolled students. Check department files first, since each department receives a copy each semester. If department records are incomplete, the Office of the Registrar can provide copies for each term as far back as five academic years (currently beginning with Fall 1996).
"Summary of Grades Earned" prepared by the Office of the Registrar and distributed to departments at the conclusion of Semester I, Interim, and Semester II (shortly after grades are posted). Describes the distribution of grades (in letter form -- C+, B-, etc.) in each departmental course for that term, providing both the number and the percentage of individual grades earned. Check department files first, since each department receives a copy each term. If department records are incomplete, the Office of the Registrar can provide copies for each term as far back as five academic years (currently beginning with Fall 1996).
"Summary and Percentages of Grades Earned" prepared by the Office of the Registrar and distributed to departments at the conclusion of Semester I, Interim, and Semester II (shortly after grades are posted). Describes the distribution of grades (in letter form -- C+, B, etc.) in the entire department for that semester, providing both the number and the percentage of individual grades earned. Check department files first, since each department receives a copy each term. College-wide information
This information may be helpful in "contextualizing" a program. For example, departments may wish to compare their departmental student-faculty ratio over time with the college-wide student-faculty ratio over time. Or they may wish to show the percentage of students in each graduating class who graduated with a major or concentration in their field.

College-wide Class Size Profile providing annual average student-faculty ratios and the number of class sections of various sizes (less than 10, 10-19, 20-29, etc) for each academic year for each of the ten most recent academic years. Available on the IR website at http://www.stolaf.edu/offices/ir/cds/cdssum.html#Siz

Available on the IR website at http://www.stolaf.edu/offices/ir/fac-staff/FTE/fte.html
College-wide Student-Faculty Ratios shows the ratio of student FTE to faculty FTE for each year during the period 1995-the current year. The site also shows the total number of teaching and instructional faculty and the total number of full-time and part-time faculty for the same time periods, so departments may calculate several other kinds of student-faculty ratios as needed. Available on the IR website at http://www.stolaf.edu/offices/ir/fac-staff/sfr.html
College-wide and departmental Enrollments per Faculty FTE provides data on student enrollment and corresponding faculty teaching FTE by department and Faculty since 1969. It also shows the ratio of those two variables--the number of student-courses per faculty FTE per year, by department and by Faculty. Available upon request from Institutional Research.
College-wide GPA per term shows the grade point average for all enrolled students in a given term (including summer sessions) from Fall 1996 to the present. Available on request from the Office of the Registrar.
