Our Mission

The mission of the office of Government and Foundation Relations is:

To assist individual faculty members, academic departments and programs, and the wider College community in the submission of successful proposals to external funding agencies. The awards received will enrich the learning and research activities of the College.

The success of this office is reflected in its stimulus of and contribution to the submission of proposals to strengthen the academic programs of the College.

This office can contribute to the success of each proposal by ensuring:

  1. its compatibility with the mission of the College
  2. its intellectual coherence
  3. the accuracy and inclusiveness of its budget
  4. its consistency with college policies
  5. its conformity with the guidelines of the funding agency
