Essential Learning Outcomes Assessment (ELOA)

Recent results and reports

ELOA was completed by 287 incoming first-years (78% of those invited to participate) in Fall 2011, and by 202 first-years (56% of those invited) and 231 seniors (62% of those invited) in Spring 2012.  The results provide a rich mix of quantitative and qualitative information about students’ perceptions of the time and energy they spend cultivating the core learning outcomes of college, how they apply their learning across courses and programs, and how they anticipate using their learning in the future.
